These Terms govern your use of the Nørra mobile application. By downloading or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
01About Nørra
Nørra is a nutrition companion app that uses artificial intelligence to analyse photographs of meals and provide a food quality score and nutritional observations. The App is designed for informational and educational purposes only.
Nørra is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The information provided by the App should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical or dietary advice.
02Eligibility
The App is suitable for users of all ages. Users under the age of 13 should use the App with parental guidance. In-app purchases require the account holder's authorisation and are subject to Google Play's parental control settings.
03Credits and purchases
The App uses a credit system to access AI-powered meal analysis. Credits can be obtained through:
- A free allocation provided upon first use
- In-app purchase of credit packs via Google Play
All purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. Credits are non-refundable once used. Unused credits are stored securely on our servers and linked to your installation. Credits are not lost if you reinstall the App. If you purchased credits and they are not showing, use the restore purchases option in the App to recover them.
We reserve the right to adjust credit prices and pack sizes at any time. Changes will not affect credits you have already purchased.
04AI-generated content and accuracy
Meal analysis, health scores, and nutritional observations are generated by artificial intelligence and are inherently approximate. The accuracy of results depends on factors including photo quality, lighting, portion visibility, and the AI model's recognition capabilities.
Nørra does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content. You use the results at your own discretion.
Do not make significant dietary, health, or medical decisions based solely on information provided by the App.
05Your data
Nørra is designed with privacy as a foundation. Your meal history, health scores, and personal context are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Meal photographs are transmitted to AI processing services for analysis and are not stored on our servers. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Your meal history and scores are stored on your device. We recommend exporting your data periodically to avoid loss if you change or lose your device. Export is available from the Profile section of the App.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code
- Circumvent credit systems, rate limits, or security measures
- Use automated tools to access the App's backend services
- Share your installation identity with others for the purpose of transferring or duplicating credits
- Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair our services
07Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, scoring algorithms, and content, is owned by Nørra and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including meal labels and personal notes.
08Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI analysis will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nørra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, health decisions made in reliance on App output, or service interruptions.
09Changes to the App and Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated via an in-app notice or update to this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice.
10Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights you have under applicable EU or national consumer law, including your right to seek redress through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
